Breathe California would like to thank everyone who offered their support of the 2008 ING Bay to Breakers pledge program. Whether you were one of our pledge runners, sponsored a runner, or volunteered at one of our water stops, your support of this partnership will help us continue to help Bay Area residents breathe easier. We truly enjoyed meeting so many of you on race day and hope you will continue joining us to fight lung disease in all its forms.

Since 1908, Breathe California has been dedicated to fighting lung disease and promoting lung health in our local communities. As the Bay Area’s first voluntary health organization, we have addressed the most critical public health issues of the time, including: tuberculosis, tobacco use, asthma and air pollution. Through prevention, education, patient support, research and advocacy, we seek to help all local residents breathe easier.
